Material of the contents
Most of the materials in this knowledge hub are in Portable Document
Format (PDF) File type. User may download and open it using PDF
reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader (www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html),
XPDF (www.foolabs.com/xpdf/download.html).
This site is managed using the Content Management System (CMS) so
all of the uploaded data, information and knowledge packages such
as case studies, best/good practices, Lessons-learnt are stored in
a database and searchable using the key words on specific waste type
such as e-waste, municipal waste etc., or type of functionalities
such as reduce, reuse or recycle or by area coverage of the materials
such as report of Thailand or report of South Asia etc.
Focus Areas
This knowledge hub is currently
focusing on three areas of the waste which are considered as emerging
issues of the region by the inception workshop. They are 1/e-waste, 2/Medical
waste and 3/Urban waste.

condition of materials. Some of the material is open access and some
of them need to get priority to use the material.
The interested users who have expertise on any of waste related areas
may register as 3R expert or Researcher and you may receive the newsletter
about the 3R related news regularly. Also it is expectable to the
opportunities to take part in the relevant exercises in possible
collaboration activities in the region.
This 3RKH site also provide the calendar of the events in the region
which are related to 3R and also waste.
This site is under development and being updated time to time so
latest information is always highlight on the first page of Knowledge
Collection.
